FOUR SEASONS HOTELS AND RESORTS SUPPORT CHILE

Together with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, oenophiles and gourmands can help earthquake victims in Chile with a simple sip. From now through April 18, 2010, Four Seasons will donate a portion of the proceeds from sales of Chilean wines from Veramonte Winery at participating properties in North America to the Chilean Red Cross. A USD 10.00 donation will be made for each bottle sold, and a USD 2.50 donation for each glass.

Three distinct vintages will be offered both by the bottle and by the glass in all dining venues at more than 20 hotels and resorts during the promotion. Featured wines include 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, which beckons to be savoured with a bold meal, and 2009 Sauvignon Blanc Reserva and 2008 Chardonnay Reserva which both pair perfectly with a warm spring night.

Created through a partnership with the Chilean owners of Veramonte and distributor Southern Wine & Spirits, the initiative continues the Four Seasons tradition of delivering support to those in need, and now extends the opportunity to guests.

Participating properties include Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta; Four Seasons Hotel Austin; Four Seasons Hotel Boston; Four Seasons Hotel Chicago; The Ritz-Carlton Chicago, A Four Seasons Hotel; Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas; Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka‘upulehu; Four Seasons Resort Lana‘i at Manele Bay; Four Seasons Resort Lana‘i, The Lodge at Koele; Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea; Four Seasons Hotel Houston; Four Seasons Resort Jackson Hole; Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas; Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills; Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel; Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, California; Four Seasons Hotel Miami; Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach; Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia; Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco; Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara; Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North; Four Seasons Hotel Seattle; Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis; and Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC. www.fourseasons.com

Origin: Calizzano in Luguria Italy - Aqua Mineralle di Callizano Spa www.acquaetrusca.com

Etrusca Bottled Water

Italians say that at the border of the Alps and the Apennines there lies, hidden deep in a fragrant beech forest criss-crossed by sparkling brooks, one of the prettiest villages of the world, which is named Calizzano.

 JAMBA DEBUTS INNOVATIVE HOT BEVERAGES

Vibrant, Naturally Good and Blended to Perfection—Company Offers a New Spin on Tea in Four Frothy Flavors

Jamba Juice turned up the temperature today with the introduction of its Jamba Juice Hot Blends™ beverages –  an innovative line of organic hot blended beverages - uniquely prepared and presented with delicious and bold flavors.

“Launching the new Hot Blends beverage line is definitely a breakthrough for us,” said James D. White, president and CEO, Jamba Juice Company.  “We are confident that our customers will find that our new offerings provide the delicious taste and health benefits that people expect from teas, but in a way that is unique to Jamba.  Building on the spin of the blender and taking it from cold smoothies to hot beverages is something that hasn’t been done before, and we are excited to offer customers innovative hot drink options for the first time.”

Made with naturally occurring antixodants, Hot Blends chai tea lattes are a good source of protein and an excellent source of calcium when you select 2% or nonfat organic milk. They are the perfect way to start your day, warm up during lunch or relax after dinner.  Original Spiced Chai™ Tea is made with flavorful chai spices, smooth, organic black tea, milk and all natural cane sugar for a touch of sweetness.  Perfectly Chocolate Chai™ Tea is also an organic chai tea latte but with an added dose of rich, chocolaty goodness.  Made with organic cocoa, the Perfectly Chocolate Chai™ Tea is a tasty, better for you way to satisfy that sweet tooth.

In addition to the chai tea lattes, Jamba will also offer Heavenly GreenTM Tea—an organic green tea latte made with premium, shade-grown, stone ground, matcha green tea from Japan, organic, all-natural cane sugar and organic vanilla.  And for the real chocolate lovers, a Classic Hot Chocolate is also available—a timeless, better-for-you treat that is made with 100% organic ingredients including organic cocoa, natural cane sugar, organic vanilla and blended with choice of milk.   Jamba Juice will also offer a “Kids Hot Chocolate”—made with the same high quality flavors and ingredients of the Classic, but served at a lower temperature.

Jamba Juice is offering a selection of organic, artisan blended whole leaf teas from Mighty Leaf®, available in hand crafted, biodegradable pouches “too big for ordinary tea bags.”  The assortment of six teas offers a variety of high quality blends of fruit, herbs, spices and blossoms for different tastes and occasions.  Made with all organic, 100% real, all natural ingredients, the Mighty Leaf Teas contain naturally occurring antioxidants.  Pairing perfectly with Jamba Juice’s steel cut, slow cooked oatmeal or baked goods, the teas will be available in Organic Breakfast (black), Organic Earl Grey (black), Organic Green Dragon (green), Organic Spring Jasmine (green), Organic African Nectar (herbal) and Organic Detox Infusion (herbal).

Jamba Juice will host a series of Hot Tea Spin Tours across the United States—a public attraction where the community will have the opportunity to test out a specialty “Blender Bike” that will blend the new Original Spiced Chai Tea while they pedal in place.  In addition to the Blender Bikes, Jamba Juice will also be sampling the Hot Blends beverages on the following dates/locations from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm:

SPAIN IS MORE THAN BEACHES AND SUN..

Visit the winegrowing regions.

Vineyards with art and history. Can you think of a better way to discover Spanish wine than by actually visiting their places of origin? Many of Spain's leading vineyards are open to visitors: many are hundreds of years old, some boast an extraordinary architectural richness, and others even include interesting collections of art relating to the wine culture. It is a real privilege to enter this world accompanied by those who have a deep understanding of it. They will show you how to fully appreciate it: they will take you around the facilities, the vineyards, the production process; they will reveal the secrets of wine tasting and you will, of course, be able to sample the wines accompanied by typical local dishes. It is now really easy to book visits and tasting in any wine cellar of Alava, Aranda de Duero, Burgos, Jerez de la Frontera, La Rioja, Murcia, Pontevedra, and Valladolid.
spain 2010
You will find really renowned wine cellars, such as Williams & Humbert, Pedro Domeq, Arzuaga and Emina.
