CHRISTMAS EGGNOG
6 Large eggs
3/4 Cups Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Brandy
1/2 Cups Rum
4 Cups Milk
4 Cups Cream
1/2 Cups Icing Sugar
Sprinkled Nutmeg
Separate the yolks, and beat the yolks slowly while adding the sugar. Continue until the mixture is light and golden. Add in the brandy and rum, then mix wiht the milk and half the cream.
Just before serving, whisk the egg whites and fold them into the eggnog mixture. Whip the remaining cream and icing sugar until thick. Generously cover with whipped cream and a dash of nutmeg for serving. This recipe serves eight. |
