Letter from the Publisher April 2021

My heart is so heavy from the human devastation that has happened since early March of 2020, and the horror of the unimagined loss of life being experienced in countries around the world, that leaves me at a loss for words. I have included as much as was possible in this issue, but it was not easy in these crazy times. So many people have died in China, Italy, Korea, Japan America and throughout the world since I began writing about this that I feel the entire world is in a state of shock. My family and I have been in practicing seperation since March 15 , 2020 and I miss them terribly. I have been given the vaccine shots but most of my family have not gotten them yet. The new vaccines are giving people everywhere new hope and
I am praying for our survival and hoping our God (by whatever name we call him) will intercede to help us. All the same procedures are in place -- wash hands, use sanitizers, wear your mask, seperate, and try to stay home. I am a very proctive person and I am doing creative cooking, writing, reorganizing everything in my house, taking short walks outside away from others and photographing flowers along the way, listening to music I love and dancing while no one is watching to keep my body and soul in shape to continue this stay-cation for my best health and hopefully keep myself and those close to me in a healthy state of mind and body. I will be putting up details on Santa Barbara Internatonal Film Festival, Oscars and additional entertainment stories. We hope your Easter is peaceful and happy as it can be under the circumstances.
