Bonnie Carroll's Life Bites

Regarding the Obama-Clinton race, I can only remember the words of my favorite high school German teacher when I asked why the German people let Hitler do what he did. She said "Hitler was the 'peoples choice', he was going to change our country" she said.

I want the Democrats to know that Hillary Clinton has the election in actual votes, and the electoral games that are being played out reek of political payoffs from visible personalities who only care about having someone they own in the White House, and proving how powerful they are.

I raised four children, and was told by experts that a child is formed by the time they are six years old. Obama had a father and a step-father who were both Muslims. As an adult he spent years sitting in a church listening to the 'hate mongering' rage of a minister who is now known to the world as a dangerous radical. None of this makes me view Mr. Obama as a great American who has wisdom or experience to lead my Country! I see him on the television daily dictating what the American people are going to do when he is in charge.

I am voting for McCain if Obama is bought this position, and I do not think I am alone in my determination to protect all that is dear in America. I realize American's are very unhappy .. I am very unhappy with the economy-Iraq War-lack of health benefits, oil disaster, etc., but not unhappy enough to jump on some unknown persons personal agenda. This election may well go to Mc Cain because he has real experience, judgement and a track record paved in agony as a patriot and loyal American. He is a man my own father would respect and follow.

I am an American woman, the daughter of a United States Marine, who loves Democracy! I am angry, as a woman who missed a childhood with a father I loved and needed because he was keeping his country safe by fighting in three major campaigns during World War II, and I am furious that anyone's vote does not count in the United States of America. These men, and all the military who have fought do it to protect our rights as American citizens. How dare anyone say a vote does not count.

Hillary has the majority vote and can do this job better than Obama; she can beat McCain because she is the best of both worlds, and does not buy into the river of delusion that has been flowing from one end of the Country to the other for the past eight years. She does understand what the issues are, and can be depended on to help. What we need now is a skilled economist to bring the financial mess we are moving into solution. I believe Bill Clinton's talent in this arena are tried and true.

I try not to ever get into these issues in my publication, however, this is such a serious time for the country I love, and I owe it to my own dear father to speak up because he would be speaking up if he were here now. We can not afford a 'dress rehersal' Chief of State at this moment in time. we cannot afford to repeat or continue in any of the major errors in judgement that have been imposed, we need a Hillary Clinton, who has the expertise and skill to sail America through what I view as the most treacherous times of our American lives!

Unfortunately, this may be one more instance where after the fact people will see the light!
