ONE WORLD FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH BAAN UNRAK CHILDREN’S VILLAGE TO CREATE HANDWOVEN APPAREL IN SUPPORT OF CHILD SANCTUARY AND EDUCATION IN RURAL THAILAND

One World Foundation (

www.oneworld-foundation.org) a charitable foundation dedicated to providing education and opportunity for children throughout the developing world, has partnered with the Baan Unrak Children’s Village of Thailand.

Baan Unrak, a
“children’s home” and safe haven, began more than two decades ago when founder Did Ananda Devamala found and began to care for an abandoned child in the jungle bordering
Myanmar and Thailand. Today Baan Unrak provides shelter, food, education, and a warm and loving home to nearly 150 children. In a region where children and teenagers are at great risk for abuse and victimization through human trafficking, Baan Unrak provides not only safety, but opportunity through education as well.

Its greatest challenge is funding, and to address this need, Baan Unrak Children
’s Village has established a weaving center to create a line of high quality clothing with both a fashionable flair and a heart: the Baan Unrak Conscious Collection. The One World Foundation sponsored a contest among US fashion schools to redesign the traditional Thai fisherman’s pants, and the outcome are the SŪK pants, a unique and versatile pair of yoga style pants that fit a wide range of lifestyles.

One World Foundation will be unveiling this project for the first time at the GBK Celebrity Suites, during Fashion Week in
New York, and at the Emmy Suites in LA.

The long-term goal of the One World Foundation
’s partnership with the Baan Unrak weaving center is to make it financially independent and profitable. In addition to helping develop the Baan Unrak Conscious Collection product line, One World Foundation is seeking $70,000 to provide essential improvements to the weaving center’s infrastructure, including housing and storage facilities for equipment and raw materials. In doing so, One World Foundation hopes to not only assist Baan Unrak itself in becoming independent, but also provide jobs for local mothers, thus helping create an environment that protects family stability. With these goals in mind, One World Foundation hopes to help Baan Unrak become a vital, financially independent center for the care and education of at-risk children –the world’s greatest hope for the future.

About the One World Foundation:
One World Foundation was founded by Christian and Stephanie Drapeau. Christian, a research scientist with a background in stem-cell research, and his wife Stephanie, who is a successful actor with over 20 films to her credit, founded One World Foundation in 2007, whose mission
“is to foster harmony among people of all classes . . . and empower children to become active citizens of the world.

2016 The Film You Need to See!

IF YOU LOVE AMERICA ---SEE THIS FILM -- THEN VOTE! bc

"2016: Obama’s America" – by author and scholar Dinesh D’Souza and award-winning film director John Sullivan peaked during the Republican National Convention which was held last week in Tampa, Florida.

"2016: OBAMA’S AMERICA" MOVIE HIDDEN FROM THE PUBLIC

Following the GOP Convention, the movie has started tapering off in views but is expected to maintain its currently strong level of viewings as the presidential election nears. The focus on the Republican Party was obviously a huge boost for the movie and put movie-goers’ interests on the movie’s topic - President Barack Obama’s personal past as well as his current influence on America as its president.

"2016: OBAMA'S AMERICA" SETS BOX OFFICE RECORD FOR DOCUMENTARIES

"THE HOPE AND THE CHANGE": A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT OBAMA’S PRESIDENCY TO BE RELEASED

Though the movie took in $500k above reported estimates, the film slipped to number 9 on the domestic box-office chart following the RNC.

The movie still holds the distinction of having become the most-viewed documentary of 2012, surpassing “Bully”, as well as the all-time most-viewed conservative documentary.

The movie expanded to 1,747 theaters due to the movie’s popularity just before and during the Republican National Convention. It is unlikely the distributor, Rocky Moutain Pictures, will expand to more theaters now that viewing has subsided 14% in viewings.

There has reportedly been a consistent problem with movie-goers satisfactorily finding venues and times in which the movie is playing in their areas in the recent past. Unlike most movies, "2016: Obama's America" opened up in Houston at one theater - not in Hollywood. Getting press and decent reactions to the movie in the press has also been a challenge. Yet, the movie has been extremely successful and continues to be sought after by many Americans.

Fandango.com is one web site that assists people with finding the viewing possibilities of the movie in their areas of the country.

The movie is based on Dinesh D’Souza’s book, ”The Roots of Obama’s Rage”.
