Six Senses Kaplankaya

Sensational Spa Experience in Turkey

By LBN Staff

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking natural beauty of an ancient land at Six Senses Kaplankaya, a stunning retreat on Turkey's Aegean coast.

Space, seclusion and serenity, Aegean style

Six Senses resort in Bodrum, Turkey, is a private escape offering you and your loved ones a combination of seclusion and social community at the heart of nature. This includes our showcase 10,000 square-meter spa with pioneering wellness programming: indoor-heated pool, hydrothermal areas, hammams, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, and classes including spinning, yoga, and Pilates. Add to this multiple organic dining options, spacious outdoor venues, private beaches, a host of children’s activities and experiences to reconnect with nature and rewild your soul.

Undulating hills clad in wild olives and cypress trees set the scene at Six Senses Kaplankaya, an expansive resort set on a secluded stretch of Turkish coastline. Like any Six Senses property, Kaplankaya places a strong focus on wellness, inviting guests to relax, rejuvenate and renew.

Each of the 141 rooms and six suites are designed to complement the landscape, and feature natural materials and views of the turquoise sea below. Meandering paths make this scenic area feel like a Mediterranean village.

The spectacular spa boasts a sauna, steam room, hammam, and even a salt grotto. Enjoy yoga and pilates at the waterfront studio, take a break in the Igloo lounge, or meet with one of the Visiting Practitioners for guidance on your personal health journey. There also are a variety of wellness boot camps offered, including ones dedicated to sleep health and holistic anti-aging. The spa offers special visits including a Healing Holidays five night Yoga program for less than $1,700 per person, sharing, including transfers, accommodation, daily breakfast and program inclusions. (healingholidays.com, +44 29 7843 3592).

It’s a multi-staged approach, focusing on psychological and physical wellbeing. Possibilities are beauty and Ayurvedic treatments, sessions in the watsu pool and with the skin-diagnostics team, Biologique Recherche facials and Ila massages. After a wellness immersion diagnosis with a doctor, bloodwork is taken and the doctor tailors each itinerary down to what you eat, and can give you an valuable Ayurvedic assessment.
