What a gorgeous afternoon at Santa Barbara Polo & Racaquet Club in Santa Barbara for the Rober Skene Trophy Awards where Belmond El Encanto invited VIPs to sit in their gorgeous box to watch the matches and savor divine cocktails by Beluga Vodka, Pommey Champaign and lobster, filet mignon, esgargot and more to taste while the exciting match was in progress. There was even a final playoff from a tied score to finalize the winning team.

The real highlight of this "Ladies Hat Day" event was the mini-treatments and guest sampling of  fine Linda Ross Beverly Hills & UMA essential oils. Linda Ross products are exclusive to the Belmond El Encanto Spa and are renowned for their fine quality and skin health. The UMA essentials oils are used for many of the Belmond Spa's treatments and are divine scents. Spa Manager Clarice Major was making introductions and overseeing mini-treatments during the afternoon.

Richard Mineards, Society Writer Montecito Journal, selected the Hat winners for the day and the representative from Linda Ross Beverly Hills was one of them, wearing a whimsical polk-a-dot number that charmed. I was not selected as a winner, however, felt like one sitting on a comfy sofa wearing my pretty-in-pink hat watching the matches and sipping a lavender lemonade by Beluga.
