SAGESTONE SPA & SALON
AT RED MOUNTAIN SPA

Red Mountain SpaWith its debut in January 2006, the multi-million dollar Sagestone Spa and Salon enhances the already stellar experience offered at Red Mountain Spa, a year-round favorite for those seeking health and wellness programs, diverse adventure activities and soothing spa offerings. Set amid the dramatic red sandstone cliffs of the Mojave Desert, Sagestone at Red Mountain Spa is an elegant, full-service spa facility that transports guests to a place of deep relaxation, tranquility and renewal with a comprehensive menu of treatments and services. It complements and enhances Red Mountain Spa’s philosophy that combines outdoor adventure, fitness, education and mind/body fulfillment, bringing a new luxury appeal.

Red Mountain Spa is located within an elegant three-story geodesic dome, featuring chocolate, lime and moss green hues in a relaxing contemporary design. The facility is juxtaposed against the red rock canyons and spires, lava bed gardens, sand dunes and lush desert flora of St. George, Utah.

Guests check in via the top floor, which also houses the full-service salon and retail area. Luminescent lighting, warm natural tones and the spa’s signature Tranquility fragrance immediately envelope visitors to the spa & salon. Surrounded by breathtaking vistas through floor-to-ceiling windows, the second floor consists of a relaxation area as well as men’s and women’s locker rooms with steam. Accessible through glass doors on this level, guests may lounge on chaises scattered outdoors on the lawn and adjacent at the pool to await their treatment or rest following. Finally, the ground floor offers fourteen treatment rooms, including two wet rooms, one multi-purpose room, two facial rooms, eight massage rooms and one couple’s massage room. There are also two outdoor, temperature-controlled cabanas.

Additionally, the spa offers a distinctive sand garden with Japanese rakes for meditation and a sacred spiral circle at the lava bed gardens, providing a haven for quiet contemplation. Guests are encouraged to arrive at least a half-hour prior to scheduled treatment to fully immerse themselves in the experience.

Sagestone utilizes Comfort Zone skincare lines as well as select Tara Aromatherapy, Phytomer, Creative Nail, Ecologix, Mountain Body and Performance Health/Biofreeze products. Red Mountain also custom creates certain indigenous products and wraps used for treatments.

Sagestone at Red Mountain Spa is situated on 55 scenic acres in Southwestern Utah, boasting a temperate year-round climate, a short two-hour drive northeast of Las Vegas. Nestled at the foot of dramatic red sandstone cliffs adjacent to the 10,000-foot peak of Pine Valley Mountain, the resort is near the entrance to the beautiful Snow Canyon State Park and approximately ten minutes from St. George Airport.
