SPA BELLAGIO

Spa Bellagio Takes Good Fitness One Step at a Time

Guests of Bellagio now have an enjoyable way to learn more about the AAA Five Diamond resort and get some exercise, too.  Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, patrons are invited to embark on a power walk around the beautiful property.  Hosted by a Spa Bellagio Fitness Instructor, each fact-filled walk begins promptly at 8 a.m. in front of the entrance to the spa.  The program takes guests through the convention area, casino and shops of Via Bellagio before heading outside past Bellagioís Mediterranean-blue lake and world-renowned fountains.  The walk then returns inside with a stroll through the resortís lush Conservatory before coming to an end back at the spa.  Customized to the fitness level of each group, the walk can be as brisk or as leisurely as desired.  Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary coffee, water and fruit within Spa Bellagio immediately following each session.

For more information on this healthy offering, contact Rebecca Ingram Frisch, Public Relations, (702) 650-7531 or ringram@mgmmirage.com.

VENDURA GOLF & SPA ... SICILY

A DESTINATION SPA IN A WORLD OF ITS OWN

Verdura Golf & Spa Resort features one of Europeís most advanced luxury wellbeing centres, designed to ensure that a holiday can be a life-changing experience.

Set amid fragrant, sun-kissed olive groves and gardens, Verdura Spa offers a complete holistic approach to health, wellbeing and fitness. An extensive menu of  spa treatments, lifestyle, exercise and nutritional  programmes  will leave the body revived, relaxed and rejuvenated.

Treatments at the Spa are focused around the four key areas of anti-ageing, detox, rejuvenation and diet. The experienced health and therapy staff will consult with each guest and develop a personalised programme of treatments and fitness activities. Treatments can be tailor-made to concentrate on massage, golf-related exercise, diet and nutrition. Treatments such as facials and body wraps take inspiration from the island, using local ingredients such as blood oranges, lemons, volcanic mud and Sicilian seawater.

At 4,000 square metres, the Spa is one of the largest in Europe. Like the rest of the resort, it is an architecturally stunning building, comprised of a series of pavilions that open onto a light-filled courtyard. There are 11 treatment rooms and outdoor treatment spaces; a glass-walled, state-of-the-art gym with a complete range of equipment; a relaxation area; a yoga room; a double-height hammam, experience showers and sauna. It has its own four thalassotherapy pools for invigorating treatments, and a 20-metre lap pool for serious swimmers. A separate beauty area offers hairdressing, manicures and pedicures. The Spa Bar will serve fresh organic juices and nutritionally balanced meals.

The Spa at Verdura is a destination in its own right. Guests can come here for a week-long spa break, or drop in for a pedicure or post-flight massage. It is a place to revitalise the senses and relax the mind, leaving you feeling younger and more refreshed than ever.
