After three years of cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the New York Auto Show came back to life this week to provide a much needed feeling of normalcy in the automotive industry. A wide range of new models made first appearances here in New York, including the larger and more powerful Grand Wagoneer L, the exotic Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica and the updated 2023 Kia Telluride. Ultimately more than a dozen new models had world premieres at the sprawling Jacob Javits Center. Let’s take a quick look at highlights of the 2022 New York Auto Show.
According to Don of the Don and Steve Podcast the New York Auto Show was overflowing with exciting new vehicles. The Electric Ford Eliminator was a crowd pleaser and the Cobra C 300 was stunning. The Elvis Continental Mark II got some nods, and the Chrysler Pacifica Mini Van has its own vacuum cleaner on board.
Everyone seemed so happy to be at this show and enjoy the latest in hot cars, as well as see old friends and test drive many of the 2022 vehicles.
