KIDS SKI OR RIDE FOR FREE! Big Bear’s New Program Gives Families a “Lift” with Free Ski Tickets for Kids There is a new programin Big Bear that gives kids the opportunity to ski or ride for free at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. The program called Kids Ski / Ride for Free is good on weekdays all season long, including spring break! This special offer does require an overnight stay Sunday through Thursday at the time of booking. “Big Bear takes pride in being kid friendly with great lodging choices and fun activities for the whole family,” said Big Bear Visitors Bureau Director of Operations Rebecca Hrabia. “Playing on the slopes together is undoubtedly one of the best ways for families to bond, and our Kids Ski for Free offer makes it more affordable.” The Kids Ski / Ride for Free package must include lodging at one of Big Bear’s participating lodges. One free kid’s lift ticket voucher will be given for each paying adult lift ticket. Free kids tickets are valid for kids 12 years and under. Lift tickets are good for either or both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. Packages are good for lodging arrivals Sunday through Thursday and skiing or snowboarding Monday through Friday. Midweek skiing is especially valuable with no wait time at the chair lifts and the runs are wide open.
