LONDON, ENGLAND – Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) picked up six awards at this month’s 12th annual World Travel Awards in London, England.

More than 500 travel and tourism industry leaders gathered at London’s Royal Opera House to fête the winners. The event was broadcast live by BBC World, Discovery Channel and the Arab Travel Channel, as well as other media outlets around the world.

The World Travel Awards were established in 1993 to acknowledge and celebrate achievements in all sectors of the global travel industry. More than 80,000 travel professionals from 200 countries cast their votes for the winners.

The destination won awards in the following categories:
