Pan-cooked Pork Chops with Alouette® Reserve™ Original Spreadable Cheese Category: Entrees Ingredients: For the sauce: For the pork chops: In a 12-inch skillet, heat vegetable oil over high. As the oil starts to smoke add pork chops and cook about 4 minutes per side, until no longer pink in the middle. Set aside pork chops to rest while you make the sauce. Reduce heat under pan to medium. Add chopped shallot and sauté for a minute to soften. Add white wine and let evaporate for a minute. Then add Alouette® Reserve™ Original Spreadable Cheese, mustard and thyme. Whisk together until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spoon the sauce over the pork chops and serve. |
